They say everything happens for a reason,
Then why is it that I can’t seem to find one?
The days right now seem pretty uneven
Just waiting for all this to come to a completion.
Life just turned up one day,
And said, ‘An unexpected twist, what say?’
I really wish it started considering my opinions,
But nope, seems like it always wants to be the dominion.
However, you know
I’ve learnt to ‘go-with-the-flow’
Cause I know, there’s a reason it does things the way it wants
And somehow enjoys when at it, I throw taunts
I just wish there came an ending which we wished
And all my hopes don’t go missed.
But hey, enough of what’s not happening right now,
I’m just going to make the best of it, is all I know.
With the chin up to life I now say,
Can at this game of yours, two play./
It is what it is, you see
The better option always is to just “be”
